The future of public health: Elevating successful local and state health department partnerships.

Kentucky’s Collaborative approach between local and state health departments is highlighted by Sara Jo Best, Lincoln Trail District, and Dr. Steven Stack, Kentucky Department for Public Health.

Franklin County Health Department won a Model Practice Award for their Just Say Program adapted from the Icelandic Prevention Model with the purpose of decreasing youth substance use.

Tammy Riley, Pike County, and Scott Lockard, Kentucky River District, provided a training session, Cross Jurisdictional Collaboration: Conducting a CASPER to assess the impact of a 1000-year flood in the mountains of Appalachia.

Tammy Riley, Pike County, was a panelist for Town Hall: Addressing Climate Change at the Local Level: Tailoring your Approach.

Jennifer Osborne and Dr. Lyndsey Blair, Lincoln Trail District, provided a training: Nothing About Us Without Us: Utilizing a Point in Time Survey to collect participant feedback in a harm reduction program.
