On April 14, 2025 Lincoln Trail District Health Department had the honor of welcoming Congressman Brett Guthrie. During NACCHO Hill Day earlier this year, Director, Sara Jo Best had the opportunity to meet with Congressman Guthrie and extend an invitation for him to visit one of the local health departments in his district—and we’re grateful he accepted.
His visit was a valuable opportunity to share the important work our team does each day to protect and promote public health in our communities. We discussed current programs, ongoing challenges, and the critical role of federal support in sustaining local public health initiatives.
We appreciate Congressman Guthrie’s time and his continued interest in strengthening public health at the local level.
